The next round will consist of a relaxed, informal video chat, which will be take place between Monday 9th and Friday 13th November, and the first session of the course will begin on Monday 16th November at 6pm.

We want to encourage everyone to apply – no matter your previous experience. This course is for you if you want to perform, but have felt anxious or insecure about the audition process. It’s for you if you’ve auditioned in the past, but have been unsuccessful and want to improve your chances. And it’s for you if you’ve been acting for years, but want to continue to learn.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about the application process, and we’re really looking forward to reading your applications!

Application Period: 2-9 November, 2020.

Why apply?

The course will provide you with an essential toolkit for theatre acting. Each session will focus on a different aspect of the craft, such as:

  • Voice work
  • How to build and develop your characters
  • How to read scripts effectively
  • How to work well in an ensemble
  • How to improve your audition technique

And much, much more!

This course will champion you as a performer, rather than prioritising the end result of a finished production.

If you have ever felt excluded from student theatre, whether that is due to your access needs, gender expression, ethnicity, language skills, or any other reason, this course will provide you with an inclusive and supportive space, where you can learn, play and make mistakes.

We can’t wait to hear from you.
